ITC Screensaver Guidelines

Guidelines for displaying an advertisement on the ITC Screensaver
Advertisements will run for one week with the possibility of running for up to two weeks.  They will be allowed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Each group must create their own ad, ITC Support cannot design it for you.

Acceptable Content
  1. Any group submitting screensavers for public computer use must be UI-sponsored and affiliated (official student orgs, academic depts, administrative groups, etc.).
  2. Screensavers should have some means of contacting the sponsoring agency about the content of the screensaver (URL, email, telephone, etc).
  3. Screensavers are intended to promote UI events, services, organizations and other UI business only.
  4. Screensavers are intended to be public service announcements — screensavers that endorse/promote political candidates & positions, religious views, and products/vendors will not be approved for distribution.
  5. Limited priority is given to ITS technology service announcements (password resets, data security, etc.).
  6. ITS Campus Technology Services management will exercise discretion as to if, when, where, and how long a screensaver will run in an ITC.
